Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is set to make his senior men’s international debut at just 15 years old, former India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin Believes the teenage sensation should simply enjoy the experience of representing his country.Soriyavanshi has taken the cricketing world by storm with a series of record-breaking performances. Despite his young age, the batting prodigy has shown remarkable composure under pressure and consistently performed well when his team needed him most. As he prepares for the biggest step in his career, Ashwin believes the youngster should focus on enjoying the game before the inevitable pressure of international cricket starts to mount.Ashwin told the BBC: “He’s a 15-year-old kid and I personally think he should have fun playing the game, just like you would in the gullies of his hometown.”“He won’t have a long road ahead of him and he will be playing without pressure. It will eventually catch up as it will turn into work, but so far I hope he can have fun and entertain us all,” Ashwin added.Ashwin also heaped praises on Sooryavanshi’s exceptional talent, stressing that despite his limited age and experience, he can adapt to the experienced bowlers.“I think he is special. When you see someone special, you know it immediately,” Ashwin added. Ashwin concluded: “What stands out about Vaibhav is not just the way he bats but also the subtle adjustments he is able to make to some of the senior bowlers who follow him.” 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi continued to rewrite cricket history as he smashed the fastest half-century in Category A cricket in the final of the Tri-Nations series between India A and Sri Lanka A, scoring a fifty in just 11 balls. His explosive 29-ball 94 helped India A win the title. The Bihar prodigy also holds several extraordinary records, including becoming the youngest IPL Orange Cap winner, fastest player to complete 1,000 IPL runs, youngest men’s T20 centurion, holder of most sixes in a single T20 tournament and fastest youth ODI fifty, cementing his status as one of cricket’s brightest young stars.
