CBSE Class 12 revaluation results: When will remaining students receive their mark sheets?
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is yet to announce the re-evaluation and verification results for the remaining Class 12 and many students are anxiously waiting as the deadline for college admissions approaches. On June 21, the committee announced the results of the first phase, announcing the results of more than 87% of applications. However, the remaining students are still waiting for the revised marks. The pending results will be announced in a phased manner and the entire process is expected to be completed soon, CBSE said in a statement.“CBSE has started issuing Level XII verification and re-evaluation results of the observed issues. Results are being announced in phases, with more than 87% of the total applications announced today. The results of the remaining applications will be announced in phases and the entire process is expected to be completed soon,” the board said.Meanwhile, many students and parents expressed concerns online about the delays. A parent wrote to the board and said, “Dear CBSE, we are yet to receive the revaluation results. This delay has affected my son’s college admission process and we are concerned that it may affect his admission. I kindly request you to release the revaluation results as soon as possible.”CBSE’s re-evaluation process came into focus earlier this month when some students raised concerns over the Online Scan Marking (OSM) system and claimed that scanned copies of answers did not match their handwriting.
When will CBSE refund the reassessment fee?
CBSE is yet to announce the exact date for refund of reassessment and verification fees. However, the board had earlier said that refunds would be processed after all revaluation results are announced.Students who are eligible for refunds, including those involved in overage or duplicate payments, will receive their refunds in the original source account, according to previous notices from the Board of Trustees. CBSE this year introduced a revised fee structure following allegations of duplication of inspection discrepancies. Students have to pay Rs 100 to get a scanned copy of the answer sheet and another Rs 100 to verify their scores. Correction request fee is Rs. 25 per question. Earlier, students had to pay Rs 700 to get the answer sheet, Rs 500 for verification of score and Rs 100 per question. The board has also decided to refund the entire fee paid by the student if the marks increase after the re-evaluation or verification process. “We have decided that if a student’s score improves or is revised upward during the review process, we will refund the full fee they paid for the reassessment,” it said.
