Speaking to RTE Radio 1, the popular actor explained that the Belfast riots were one of the main reasons behind the cancellation of filming for the upcoming season. He shared, “We had to stop this, which… It was not good,” adding that “There are a lot of things that are shaking in Ireland, I think from outside the country at the moment. And I think a lot of TV has started a lot of pot here, and a lot of useless hands that hang around can get into the street.“In early June, riots broke out in the capital of Northern Ireland after Stephen Ogilvie was killed, and a Sudanese man was arrested in connection with the incident. When the riots started, houses and cars were also set on fire.

About ‘Line of Duty’ Episode 7
