Photos of the two actors at the event surfaced online just hours before the big show, giving fans their first glimpse of their cool looks ahead of their film premiere at the pop culture convention.Dressed to impress in Indian suits, Ranbir and Yash were seen posing for pictures with the media crew after participating in an interview session before heading to the much-awaited film’s interview.

Ranbir Kapoor, who essays the role of Lord Rama, opted for a bandhgala paired with black sunglasses and an Indian flag lapel pin.Yash, who plays the villainous Ravana, wore a black suit with a black shirt underneath, showing off his gold chain and gold trishul as his pin.Also joining the cast were director Nitesh and producer Namit to call on the occasion.The actors were all smiles as they greeted international media ahead of what is being touted as one of the biggest shows of Indian cinema at Comic-Con.

‘Ramayana’ is moving to Ballroom 20

The ‘Ramayana’ presentation is scheduled to take place in the 4,800-seat Ballroom 20, with a one-hour panel featuring entertainment journalist Coy Jandreau.Director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra are also expected to join Ranbir and Yash on stage to discuss the ambitious adaptation, his vision and the way to bring the Indian epic to the world.According to reports, attendees will be treated to an official trailer for the film, as well as exclusive never-before-seen footage during the screening.The panel is scheduled to take place between 3:15 AM and 4:15 AM IST on July 24, when the trailer is expected to debut at Comic-Con in San Diego.

‘Ramayana’ is specially mentioned

In another interesting line-up, ‘Ramayana’ was given a dedicated mention in the “Indian Highlight” program of Comic-Con 2026. The official schedule describes the event as, “An international exhibition of Indian history. Ballroom 20, July 23, 2026, 3.30 PM. Group Features, exclusive videos and Q&A. “The film shares the Comic-Con schedule with major international organizations including ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, ‘Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’, ‘Blade Runner 2099’, ‘Wolverine’, ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’, and several other top titles.

‘Ramayana’ trailer in India released

While the launch of the Comic-Con is expected to take place as early as Friday (IST), an image circulating online from PVR Pictures executives suggests that the trailer may receive a 10 AM IST release on digital and cinema platforms on July 24.
