Actor R Madhavan received the award for Padma Shrione of India’s highest civilian honors, conferred by the President Dropadi Murmu at the second business event held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on June 23. His wife Sarita Madhavan and son Vedaant Madhavan joined him at the event. The actress chose a classy navy blue dress for the occasion.But his watch was very impressive. The actress sported a Jalsa Nebula by Titan in 18-karat rose gold. It has a small stone carving inspired by Jaipur’s Hawa Mahal. This is a limited edition watch worth Rs 40 lakhs and only 10 pieces of it are available worldwide.Following the event, Madhavan shared a heartfelt message on social media, expressing his appreciation for the recognition and reflecting on his journey in cinema.He began by writing, “I am deeply humbled and deeply grateful and honored to be awarded the Padma Shri. I am deeply grateful to the Government of India for bestowing on me the highest civilian honor in our country. I am also grateful to the Government of Maharashtra for honoring my name and putting their faith in my retirement.”The actor went on to thank his audience for their unwavering support over the years, saying, “To every person who watched my films, embraced my people, celebrated my success, forgave my mistakes, and stood by me over the years – this honor is yours as much as it is mine.
