SSC ASO LDCE Recruitment 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Assistant Section Officer (ASO)/Assistant grade Limited Department Competitive Examination (LDCE) notification 2026, announcing 341 vacancies in Central Secretariat Services (CSS) and Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). Eligible departmental candidates can submit online applications through the SSC official portal from June 25, 2026 to July 16, 2026.The recruitment process includes a computer-based exam scheduled for August 2026. The exam will be conducted only at centers located in the National Capital Region of Delhi.Job vacancy details and recruitment processThe recruitment is aimed at filling 341 posts in the Central Secretariat and Ministry of External Affairs through limited departmental competitive examinations. Only eligible departmental candidates may apply in accordance with the recruitment process prescribed by the Commission. Candidates must complete the online registration process within the specified deadline. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. The committee has also prescribed separate deadlines for submission of printed application forms by departments and for candidates serving abroad or in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.Application timetableThe notice was released on June 25, 2026, and the online application window opened on the same day. Candidates can submit their applications before 11 pm on July 16, 2026.Departments have to submit the printed application form by July 23, 2026, while candidates posted abroad (including Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep Islands) have to complete the required formalities by July 30, 2026.Application processApplications must be submitted through the SSC official portal ssc.gov.in. Candidates who have not yet registered on the new portal must complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process before filling the application form.The committee has advised the applicants to complete the registration and submit the forms within the stipulated time. The computer-based exam is scheduled to be held in August 2026 and will be conducted only at exam centers in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Further updates, including the release of answers, are pending, but as of today, have not yet been released.
