Bijendra Nath Tiwari, brother of famous Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathiwas hospitalized with serious injuries after being attacked with ‘sharp weapons’ in Bihar.According to IANS, Bijendra was admitted to a hospital in Patna for treatment. Posting a video of his arrival at the hospital, the agency tweeted, “Bijendra Nath Tiwari, was seriously injured in a sharp blow related to an old dispute. He was shifted to Patna for intensive care, where the police formed a special team and launched a raid to arrest the accused.”

According to Navbharat Times, the attack took place in Belsand village under Madhopur police station. The report says the assailants fought Tiwari over a “long-standing dispute”.The report added that the militants, who were hiding in the village, ‘suddenly attacked him with sharp weapons’. The attack seriously injured him, prompting his family members to rush him to Model Sadar Hospital for emergency treatment. When he was given first aid, doctors said his condition was ‘extremely serious’.

So the medical team sent him to Patna for medical treatment. He is currently receiving treatment under the supervision of specialist doctors.Meanwhile, a special police team has been formed to identify and arrest the perpetrators of the attack.
