Mollywood actor Amith Chakalakkal is set to entertain the audience with his upcoming series ‘Muthassi’ which combines spirituality with family drama.Amith Chakalakkal, Akhila Bhargavan and veteran actor KPAC Leela In the main roles the series takes place in a village on the Kerala-Karnataka border, where an ancient curse begins to change the life of an ordinary family. Written and directed by Nandulal MS, Muthassi explores themes of fear, motherhood and survival against the horrors of the village.
A family is faced with a terrifying secret
The story revolves around Leela played by Akhila Bhargavan whose life changes after her husband Rajan, portrayed by Amith Chakalakkal, returns home. What at first appears to be a happy reunion soon takes a disturbing turn when strange events begin to occur within their home.Their son Sreekuttan, played by Orhan Hyder begins to show an alarming change in behavior. As things escalate, the family is forced to confront a supernatural force believed to be connected to an ancient curse.

KPAC veteran Leela plays the titular character ‘Muthassi’ who is expected to hold the key to the supernatural events surrounding the family. Amith Chakalakkal and Akhila Bhargavan portray a middle-class family that navigates this dire situation.
