HPCET 2026: HPTU extends counseling registration deadline for UG and PG admissions; check revised timetable
Himachal Pradesh Technological University (HPTU) has extended the last date for submission of HPTU admission-cum-counseling form 2026 for admission to various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. Eligible candidates can complete the consultation registration through the official website himtu.ac.in.The extended deadline is applicable to candidates who have passed the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2026 and are seeking admission to different courses offered by the university.For BTech (Direct Entry), Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharmacy) Direct Entry, Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BSc HMCT), Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), candidates can submit their inquiry form before 5 pm on July 7, 2026.The same deadline of July 7, 2026 to 5 pm is also applicable for candidates seeking Master of Business Administration (MBA), MBA (Tourism and Hospitality Management), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Physics (MSc), Master of Environmental Science, Master of Arts (MA), Master of Yoga and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) courses.Meanwhile, candidates applying for Bachelor of Architecture (BArch), BTech (Lateral Entry), BPharmacy (Lateral Entry), Master of Technology (MTech) and Master of Pharmacy (MPharmacy) can submit their inquiry forms before 5 pm on July 25, 2026.
How to Submit the 2026 HPTU Inquiry Form
Candidates can follow the following simple steps to complete the consultation registration:
- Please visit HPTU official website Himtu.ac.in.
- Click on the consultation registration link on the home page.
- Log in using your HIM access ID, mobile number or other login credentials, and password.
- Upload your photo and signature in the prescribed format.
- Pay for your consultation using online banking, debit or credit card.
- View details and submit an inquiry form.
- Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
The HPCET 2026 exam will be conducted in paper-pencil format from May 9 to 10, 2026, and the results will be announced on May 21, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete consultation registration before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
