‘I’m so mad at him’
Wilde revealed that he visited SpaceX when the company set up its headquarters recently. At the time, Musk expressed interest in supporting a charity he was involved with in Haiti, which focused on building hospitals and schools.“I’m so mad at him now. I’m so mad at him,” Wilde said.Recalling the meeting, he added, “I met him years ago. I think SpaceX had just built their headquarters in LA. And I had to visit because I wanted to see rocket ships. “He added that Musk had expressed an interest in donating money to the organization.“He was interested in donating money to an organization I had in Haiti that was building hospitals and schools. I believe he gave a small amount, and that was appreciated.”
‘He looked very smart’
Wilde admitted that while he found Musk to be smart during the conversation, he didn’t expect his people to change the way it was.“I was blown away by him. I never would have predicted that he would go the way he did. He seemed smart,” she said.Summarizing his view of the billionaire, Wilde added that he met him long before he “became a creature.”His comments come as Musk continues to rise to prominence in global politics, business and social media, where his words and actions often spark controversy.
