Baahubali: Prabhas Reveals How Baahubali Changed His Life and Global Fame |
the’Baahubali‘franchise is still one of the biggest movies in the history of Indian movie. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film took another turn Prabhas‘ work forever and made him one of the biggest stars of Pan-India. The actor recently explained how the film reached people from different countries, languages and cultures.As ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ completes 10 years, Prabhas speaking in the recently released documentary of ‘Baahubali: The Torch Bearer’ said that he never imagined that the film would become a global hit. He recalled meeting people in different countries who knew him because of ‘Baahubali’.
Prabhas remembers fans from different countries
He said: “I have had people come to me in Italy and say my name.” Even in Peru, where I went to do charity work, children told me how much they loved Baahubali.The actor also shared an unforgettable incident involving director SS Rajamouli. He said, “Someone in Norway went to Rajamouli’s boss and said, ‘I think you are the director.’ After some time he said, ‘I think you are the director of Baahubali.’ All the places Baahubali reached were magical.”
Prabhas says life changed a lot
Prabhas said the success of ‘Baahubali’ changed his life in many ways. He said people now recognize him wherever he goes. He said: “When I wake up in a new world and people still recognize me, I call my lord Rajamouli and say, ‘Can’t you let me walk in this life? In the past we used to go to Mumbai or Delhi to escape. It’s not an option anymore.’ Now wherever we go in the world, someone comes and says, ‘Baahubali’.“
Prabhas works ahead
As far as Prabhas’ recent work is concerned, he has several big projects on his list. He will be seen in the war drama film, ‘Fauzi’ directed by ‘Sita Ramam’ fame Hanu Raghavapudi. He is also working on Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’ and will later be seen in the sequels of mega hits ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and ‘Salaar’.
