Ranbir Kapoor is all set to go to the much-awaited ‘Ramayana’ trailer, but the actor might be seen wearing dark glasses for an unexpected reason. A few days before the big event in Delhi, Ranbir is said to have contracted conjunctivitis. Despite suffering from an eye disease, the actor has decided not to miss the event and attend the star-studded event as planned.According to a source close to the actor, who was quoted by Hindustan Times, the disease started with his daughter, Raha. Like many parents who take care of their children during such illnesses, Ranbir believes that he caught his eye. “Ranbir Kapoor has conjunctivitis. His daughter Raha got it first, and like any doting father, Ranbir also got infected. “The source also explained that the actor is still committed to attending the ceremony despite the difficulties he is facing. “As Team Ramayana prepares for the grand Pratham Sankalp at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi, RK, who is always known to keep his promises, will probably be seen wearing dark glasses for the event as a precaution,” the source added.The trailer of Nitesh Tiwari“The legendary magic tale is set to premiere on July 18 at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, marking one of the biggest film events of the year.Director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra are expected to preside over the launch, with several cast members in attendance. The film will be the second Indian title after ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ to be screened at the world-renowned event. Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Namit Malhotra are expected to represent the film there.Made on a budget of Rs 4,000 crore, ‘Ramayana’ is one of the most expensive and ambitious films ever made in Indian cinema. The project also features a unique music collaboration between AR Rahman and Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer.The official SDCC schedule previews the story’s gist: “In the age of gods and kings, the tragedy of the worlds has not been overcome.Backed by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, ‘Ramayana’ is being produced as a two-parter. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the first part is slated to release in Diwali 2026, while the final title is expected to hit the theaters in Diwali 2027.
