AP POLYCET 2026 second phase (final phase) counseling registration process has started today (July 16, 2026). Qualified candidates who were unable to participate in the first phase or failed to secure a seat in advance can now complete the online counseling process through the official AP POLYCET counseling portal.Candidates participating in the final phase must complete the processing fee payment, certificate verification and network option entry within the scheduled time. The handling fee can be paid through online banking, credit card or debit card.• Complete Certificate Verification: Candidates must complete online certificate verification. Those whose documents are not verified online are required to visit the designated Helpline Center (HLC) with the required proof.• Go to online options: After verification, candidates can log in and select their preferred polytechnic and branch. Candidates are advised to enter multiple choices to improve their chances of getting a seat.AP POLYCET 2026 Exam StatisticsAround 1.63 lakh students appeared for AP POLYCET 2026 exam. Among them, 148,950 qualified candidates, with a passing rate of 91.37%.For candidates in the OC and BC categories, the minimum qualifying score is 36 points (out of 120 points), which is equivalent to 30%. There is no minimum qualifying score required for SC and ST candidates.Estimated Phase 2 Cutoff Trends and Seat AvailabilityThe final ranking for AP POLYCET 2026 Phase 2 Counseling is expected to vary based on branch, college and booking category. Enrollment at public polytechnics may range from around 1,500 to more than 60,000 students.Compared to the first phase, the cut-off time for the second phase is expected to be relaxed by about 15% to 30% as seats become vacant due to dropouts, unreported candidates and non-payment of admission fees.Computer Science Engineering (CSE) remains one of the most competitive branches.
