Liam Neeson is racing in his latest vehicle, ‘The Mongoose’. The newly released teaser trailer features Neeson as Ryan “Fang” Flanagan, a man caught up in an unsolved crime who finds himself leading the police on a car chase.

According to the synopsis, with nothing to lose, Flanagan “leads law enforcement on a cross-country car chase with the help of his armed brothers and on the run.” The trailer reveals the desperation that drives his actions, Marisa Tomei, playing his ex-wife Tara, asks him to surrender. “You have to give yourself up,” he tells her, but after receiving her affirmative answer: “I can’t do that.” I will not be caught again.These images appear against the dark background of the war hero, confirming the pain that plagues his character. As the chase intensifies, Tomei can be heard instructing Neeson over the phone: “Drive. As fast as you can,” as he makes his way to the film’s iconic scene. All the while, many of his followers are listening on television, who have a lot of money to follow the fugitive’s journey and support his escape.

The film has an ensemble cast supporting Neeson’s direction. Ving Rhames portrays Tanker, one of Flanagan’s fighters who helps him escape. Michael Chiklis plays Papa, a police officer tasked with catching fugitives. The film is directed by Mark Vanselow, a leading feature producer, and written by Thompson Evans.

According to people, at the age of 74, Neeson continues his film career which started with the 2008 hit ‘Taken’. The successful film launched a steady career in the sports genre, where the actor showed interest to the public for almost two decades. His recent work has spawned a number of action vehicles for him, including a comedy entry in 2025 and a science fiction comedy that was released last February.
