2026 Maruti Brezza launched, priced at Rs 7.40 lakh: Engine, features and more
Maruti Suzuki An updated version has been launched in India Brezza. As part of this update, the model gets slightly revised styling, new technology, additional safety features and new engine options. The updated SUV continues to compete with the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Skoda Kylaq. Here’s everything you need to know.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Design and cabin
On the surface, the changes are subtle. The facelifted Brezza gets a redesigned front grille with dark chrome accents, a new front bumper, updated fog lamp housings and new style alloy wheels. Customers can also opt for dual-tone body cladding, while the rear styling remains largely unchanged from the outgoing model.The biggest updates are inside the cabin. The dashboard has been redesigned around a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The new setup supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and pairs with an ARKAMYS premium audio system. Higher-spec ZXi+ models also come with ARKAMYS Surround Sense, Suzuki’s next-generation Connect telematics suite with built-in Alexa, over-the-air software updates and voice commands activated via the “Hi Suzuki” wake phrase. The instrument cluster on ZXi and ZXi+ models has also been upgraded with a TFT color display.Maruti has also enhanced comfort and convenience. The updated Brezza now offers ventilated front seats, wireless smartphone charger with active cooling, automatic climate control, air purifier with PM2.5 display, electric sunroof, 64-color ambient lighting on the top version, leatherette upholstery in dark brown and black finishes, soft-touch dashboard, electric sunroof and 360-degree camera.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Safety
Security is one of the biggest upgrades. The Brezza becomes the third model launched by Maruti Suzuki in India to offer advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) after the Victoris and e Vitara. Depending on the variant, the SUV comes with features such as blind-spot warning with lane change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit warning, front parking sensors and a tire pressure monitoring system. Standard safety equipment across the range includes six airbags, electronic stability program with hill assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, front seatbelt pretensioners with force limiters and reverse parking sensors with infographic display.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Powertrain
Under the hood, the SUV is powered by a new 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The power unit produces 110 hp and 170 Nm of torque.The Brezza also continues to be powered by a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine (103 hp, 140 Nm) with intelligent hybrid technology. It comes with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters, with the automatic gearbox claiming a fuel efficiency of 20.17 kmpl. Customers looking for a CNG option can opt for the factory-installed S-CNG version, which is claimed to have an efficiency of 26.90 km/kg while retaining usable luggage space due to its bottom cylinder layout.Dimensions-wise, the Brezza remains unchanged at 3,995 mm in length and 1,790 mm in length. The updated Brezza will be available in four trims: LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. Buyers can choose from seven exterior colors, including new Vibrant Orange and Glossy Beige, as well as Pearl Arctic White, Fiery Red, Brilliant Silver, Magma Gray and Blue Black. A dual-tone option with a blue-black roof will also be available. Maruti Suzuki offers a standard warranty of three years or 1,00,000 km, which can be extended to six years.
