AIIMS releases NORCET 11 nurse recruitment notification; applications open till August 13
AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released the official notification for the General Eligibility Test (NORCET)-11 for Nursing Staff Recruitment under Notification No. 103/2026. This recruitment drive invites online applications for the post of Nursing Officer (Group B) at AIIMS, New Delhi and other participating AIIMS institutions. This notice was issued on July 24, 2026.Online registration has started through the official AIIMS exam portal and will remain open till 5 pm on August 13, 2026. Recruitment will be conducted through a two-stage computer-based examination, document verification and physical examination. The number of vacancies will be announced separately.Eligibility criteria and salary detailsThe selected candidates will be appointed as Nursing Staff in Pay Matrix Grade 07 corresponding to the pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 9,300-34,800, grade pay is Rs. 4,600.Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old as of August 13, 2026. The age will be relaxed as per regulations.Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree. (Hons) Nursing Bachelor of Nursing or Foundation Post-Baccalaureate Nursing qualification and Nurse and Midwifery Registration. Holders of general nursing and midwifery diplomas are also eligible if they are registered as nurses and midwives and have two years’ experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds.Exam timetable and application feesThe NORCET preliminary exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 12, 2026, while the NORCET main exam will be conducted on September 30, 2026. Both phases will be conducted in the form of computer tests.

The application fee is Rs. General, UR and OBC applicants need to pay Rs 3,000 while SC, ST and EWS applicants need to pay Rs 5,000. 2,400. People with disabilities are exempt from the application fee. AIIMS said that the application fee paid by SC and ST candidates who appeared for the examination will be refunded upon verification of category certificates after the results are declared.Application processCandidates must complete the online application through the AIIMS examination portal, register for NORCET-11, fill in the application form, upload the required documents and pay the applicable fees through online payment methods. Upon successful submission, applicants should download and retain a copy of the completed application form for future reference. Selection will be based on performance in preliminary and main examinations, followed by document verification and medical examination.
