New Delhi: Virat Kohli After missing the Afghanistan series due to injury, he was named in the India ODI squad for the upcoming tour of England. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squad on Sunday. However, Virat KohliFitness clearance is required to participate in the much-anticipated ODI series.India will play three ODIs against England at Edgbaston (July 14), Sophia Gardens (July 16) and Lord’s Stadium (July 19).Jasprit Bumrah also returns in the ODI set-up. The fast bowler was rested in both the one-off Test and the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan as part of BCCI’s workload management plan.Kohli suffered a hamstring injury in the 2026 IPL final and was subsequently ruled out of the ODI series against Afghanistan.All-rounder Axar Patel returns to the ODI squad after missing the Afghanistan series. However, Yashaswi Jaiswal and Mohammad Siraj were not included in the squad for the England tour.Gunur Brar retained his place in the team.
