Veteran cinematographer Dillip Ray, one of the most successful names in Odia cinema, has died at the age of 72 after a prolonged illness.According to PTI, Dillip Ray passed away at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar on Friday night. Dillip Ray, who was born on July 27, 1954, in Cuttack, became very interested in cinema. To pursue his artistic interests, he studied at the Film and Television Institute (FTI) in Bengaluru, where he received a technical education.
