During the theatres, ‘Trikala – The Script of God’ received mixed response from the audience.One viewer wrote online, “The movie starts on a reliable note and manages to hold your attention for the first 20 minutes. Unfortunately, after that, it loses all its appeal. The central idea had a lot of power but the producers failed to develop it into an interesting story. There is nothing new or memorable and the show feels weak and inconsistent.”Another audience member shared, “The online description says that the film shows a lot of Sanatana Dharma but I didn’t feel that the film delivered on that promise. In my opinion, the promotional description created expectations that the film failed to live up to.”

The story begins in the famous world of Kumari Kandam. Powerful sages protect sacred texts that they believe have special powers. He fears that these secrets may fall into the hands of evil forces and creates a divine weapon and gives it to the warrior Trikala Varma.In a fierce battle against the forces of darkness, Trikala Varma sacrifices his life to protect humanity. Sages keep his soul inside the mysterious Maya Andam and believe that one day he will return during the Kali Yuga to face evil again. The film follows the mystery surrounding this prophecy.
