The two actors recently opened up about their latest release, ‘The Invite,’ and their experiences. The two also thought about the importance of such films because they give the audience a sense of relief that they are not the only ones, they are all laughing. After sitting down with The Guardian, the pair opened up about the comfort they felt filming the project. Norton added, “There was a comfort and trust that was already there,” sharing that both had worked with each other before and were familiar with the other actor’s background. “It wouldn’t be at all, it would have an arc if it was shot in sequence. We would have been very careful. It had a lot to do with how the story was set at the end”, he shared about working on the film.Wilde added that she feels the same way, admitting, “I’m happy and confused by this experience, because I don’t know when I can expect to have another one like this. To have a group of people who are united. I have the feeling that if I don’t do anything else, I’ll be fine.”

During the interview, the two stars also opened up about what they heard from the crowd while watching the film. “People just shed tears,” Norton said.Wilde, on the other hand, said, “The audience I like best laugh at is the one who seems to say: ‘I thought I was alone!’ It’s like ha-ha-ha-aaah; moan a little. “When you hear yourself laughing at something that you think is revealing, and then someone else does it, the shame you felt is instantly relieved.”
Plot of ‘The Invite’
A wedding comedy follows the lives of a married couple who have been together for a long time.
