Tata Harrier, Safari Stealth edition launched: Price, changes explained
Tata Motors Stealth versions of Harrier and Safari SUVs have been launched in the Indian market. Tata had previously launched the Stealth Edition of these two SUVs as limited edition models. The 2026 Tata Harrier and Safari Stealth variants are based on Fearless Ultra and Accomplished Ultra trims. The Harrier Stealth Edition is available in petrol and diesel engine options and is priced between Rs 23.43 lakh and Rs 26.01 lakh. The Safari Stealth Edition is priced between Rs 24.09 lakh and Rs 26.76 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested customers can pre-order the new SUV online or at their nearest dealership; deliveries are expected to begin soon.Talking about the changes, the 2026 Harrier and Safari Stealth Edition stand out with their Stealth Black exterior. Its 19-inch alloy wheels feature the same design as the Dark and Red Dark versions, but in a matte stealth black finish. “Stealth” badging on the front fenders further differentiates the special edition. Stepping inside, the cabin adopts an all-black theme with carbon black leatherette upholstery and jewel-style Terrain Response controller. Based on the top-spec trim, both SUVs retain all the features including power-ventilated front seats, adjustable front center armrest and four Terrain Response modes: Normal, Rough and Wet.In terms of features, both SUVs come equipped with a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Alexa connectivity, Arcade app suite, fully digital dashboard, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, 13-speaker JBL sound system with Dolby Atmos, dual-zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, ventilated seats, six airbags, ABS, ESC, and more. Moving on to the powertrain, both SUVs have two engines to choose from – a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine produced by Fiat with 170 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque. The other engine is a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder Hyperion turbo-petrol engine with 170 hp and 280 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
