Tom Holland‘s ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is setting up cash registers ahead of its release this week. The blockbuster film which is said to be set to set a new record at the Indian box office has reportedly registered strong bookings in India, thus establishing itself as one of the most anticipated Hollywood blockbusters of 2026.With three days to go for the film’s release, the film has reportedly collected Rs 25 crore from opening day bookings alone, reports Bollywood Hungama. According to early estimates, the film has sold around 2.60 lakh tickets across India’s top three box office and is about to cross 4 lakh tickets before it hits the theatres.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ first day of sales
The superhero show has exceeded marketers’ expectations, with bookings well in advance to mark a record opening. Trade estimates suggest that the film’s final opening day sales may touch Rs 35 crores. This will take it to the mark of Rs 50 crore on its opening day.According to Sacnilk, the film is reportedly targeting an opening of Rs 50-60 crore. If it succeeds, it could act as a serious competitor to ‘Avengers: Endgame’, which earned an opening of Rs 65 crore in India.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Ticket Prices
The increase in bookings for the film comes despite ticket prices of around Rs 300, while the selected features are getting higher. In some areas, prices have crossed the four-digit mark. Although higher than usual, the ticket prices of this film will be lower than that of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ to earn $500 million
According to reports, the popularity of the ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ trailer has also boosted ticket sales worldwide. The film is aiming for a grand opening of over USD 212 million to $255 million at the domestic box office and a worldwide debut of around $550 million, before its release on July 31, 2026.
