Kannada actress and filmmaker Sharmiela Mandre has entered another phase of her life as she got engaged to producer Sudhan Sundaram. The couple’s engagement ceremony was held privately in Bengaluru on June 25.

The couple shared pictures from their ceremony which showed the couple dressed in traditional white while Sharmiela Mandre wore a saree and Sudhan Sundaram was seen in a kurta.The engagement was attended by relatives and close friends. The ceremony took place after both families gave their blessing and approval. The couple exchanged rings in a traditional ceremony surrounded by their loved ones.

Sharmiela in association with Sudhan Sundaram kept the announcement simple. He wrote, “And just like that,” along with a ring emoji.Soon after sharing, fans and many celebrities congratulated the couple. About their professional front
As for Sharmiela’s career, she made her debut with ‘Saajni’ in 2007. Since then, she has acted in around 35 films in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu cinema. Some of her popular films include ‘Krishna’, ‘Navagraha’, ‘Aake’, ‘Gaalipata 2’, ‘Powder’ and ‘The Devil’. Apart from acting, she also runs Sharmiela Mandre Productions and has produced several feature-driven films.On the other hand, Sudhan Sundaram is the founder of Passion Studios and is known for producing several films. His film Parking won the National Award for Best Film in Tamil at the 71st National Film Awards.Sharmiela and Sudhan are expected to get married later this year. However, the couple has not announced their wedding date.
