‘Ramayana: Part 1’ is set to hit theaters this Diwali, with the second part releasing on Diwali 2027. Ranbir Kapoor explained that the big moments between Ram and Ravana come later in the story, which is why he and Yash haven’t shared theaters so far.According to a report in India Today, Ranbir said, “Lord Rama and Ravana will be seen together at the end of the film, and maybe a meeting in between. But we didn’t shoot that. Therefore, we did not have the opportunity to work together. But I’ve known Yash for quite some time, and I’ve always been a big fan of his work. “I really believe we need someone with the aura, the prestige, the attitude to do this.”

Ranbir Kapoor also praised Yash’s performance in Ravana, noting that the actor has left behind the character on screen.Ranbir shared, “He played with such swag, aura, and sincerity that he really brought Ravana to life. Over the years, we have had a familiar image of Ravana, but not this one.”
