Ramayana Latest Updates: Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra are all set to unveil the trailer at San Diego Comic-Con.

The wait for the trailer of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is almost over. Ahead of its worldwide release on July 24, the film is about to make its debut at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), where the makers will unveil the much-anticipated trailer to the international audience. Adding to the excitement, Ranbir Kapoor and Yash were spotted leaving Mumbai on Wednesday as they headed to San Diego for the popular pop culture event.

The Ramayana is scheduled for Thursday at 3:15 PM PDT in the legendary Ballroom 20, which can hold up to 4,800 people. Helmed by entertainment journalist Coy Jandreau, the episode will feature Ranbir, Yash, director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra.

Apart from discussing the film’s ambitious vision, grand production, public tours and how it takes India’s history to a global audience, the team is also expected to unveil exclusive footage before unveiling the official trailer.

According to the Comic-Con schedule, the presentation will take place between 3:15 AM and 4:15 AM IST on July 24, making it the first public screening of the movie.

However, Indian fans may have to wait a little longer to watch the trailer.

An image leaked online from the official PVR Pictures website reveals that the trailer will be released at 10 AM IST on July 24 across digital and video platforms. At the same time, several reports online claim that the launch could happen at 8 AM IST. The makers, however, have only confirmed the release date and have not announced the official date.

The Comic-Con presentation is also expected to feature a specially produced trailer dubbed in English. According to the production team, it uses AI-assisted lip-syncing technology, which allows the actors to match the English dialogue naturally as part of the film’s international release process.

The SDCC synopsis reads: “In the age of gods and kings, the fate of the world rests in hope. Rama, a prince bound by work, sacrifice and great good, must face Ravana, an immortal ruler driven by pride and revenge, powerful enough to shatter the heavens.”

This epic epic features one of the greatest Indian films. Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi plays Sita, Yash essays Ravana, Sunny Deol appears as Lord Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey takes on the role of Lakshman.

The supporting cast includes Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Rakul Preet Singh as Shurpanakha, Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari, Arun Govil as King Dashrath, Vivek Oberoi as Vidyutjihva, Kunal Kapoor as Lord Indra, Adinath Kothare as Bharata, while Anupam Kher lends his voice to Jatayu.

While Ramayana is slated to release in Diwali 2026, industry reports suggest that the film may hit the theaters on November 8, the release date of which is expected to be revealed in the trailer.
