Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘have no right to stay in the palace,’ says expert: ‘The Sussexes have won’ |
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been making headlines for their expected UK visit to lead the one-year anniversary celebrations of the Invictus Games 2027. Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex received a big invitation from King Charles III to Highgrove House last week, the expert believed that the couple should not return to the palace.
The expert is calling Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from the ivory tower in 2020, leaving their royal duties to create an independent life in California. Half a century later, the couple was called to religion by His Royal Highness, along with their children: Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie. Speaking about the meeting, TalkTV writer Mark Dolan said, “The Sussexes have won. Meghan Markle will return to the palace,” in an interview with Sky News Australia. “It is my understanding that William is angry about this. Why? Because it is a reward for Harry and Meghan’s deceit, betrayal and cruelty,” the expert said. In addition, Dolan said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not respect the monarchy. “Charles wants to see his grandchildren, I understand that, but I think that Harry and Meghan did not have the right to stay in the palace. They got their way in the usual way,” he added.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle: When things went south
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle opened up about their frustrations with the kingdom in an interview with Oprah in 2021. The couple talked about their troubled relationship with King Charles III, and also highlighted the racism they faced. “In those months when I was pregnant – all the time, we agreed, ‘He will not be given protection, he will not be given a name,’ and worries and discussions about how dark his skin would be when he was born,” Meghan recalled the conversation, according to Vogue. In addition, Prince Harry said his relationship with King Charles III was not stable. He said: “I have a lot to deal with.” I can see that he is very upset because he has experienced similar things, and he added: “I will always love him, but there is a lot of pain.”Before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle came to visit the UK, there was some back-and-forth talk about security guarantees for them. Reports suggest that the couple will reconsider their trip. After a week of making headlines, the couple reunited with King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
