According to sacnilk’s preliminary estimates, ‘The Odyssey’ collected Rs 6.50 crore on Day 6 (Wednesday) from 8,268 screens in India. The film dropped by 22.2% from its second collection of Rs 8.35 crore.

‘The Odyssey’ records the best box office run in India

‘The Odyssey’ debuted with Rs 17.40 crore theaters on Friday before seeing the biggest growth of the week. In its first weekend, the film collected Rs 61.30 crore nett, driven by strong consistency in the IMAX format and positive word of mouth.Even though the collections fell during the week to around Rs 8 crore, the epic managed to maintain a solid foothold at the box office before it dropped on Wednesday.

‘The Odyssey’ crosses Rs 100 crore

Considering the film’s earnings on Wednesday, the movie now boasts of an all-India gross of Rs 84.15 crore, while its collection in India stands at around Rs 100.38 crore.The latest figures make ‘The Odyssey’ the 21st Hollywood release to cross Rs 100 cross in India. This huge success is Christopher Nolan and Matt Damon’s second highest grossing film in the country. The duo had previously worked on the blockbuster, ‘Oppenheimer’ (2023), which remained among the top 10 Hollywood releases in India with a lifetime collection of Rs 128.46 crore.

The English version continues to dominate

This original English film is the highest grossing Indian film. Of the Rs 84.15 crore collected so far, the English version has fetched around Rs 66.55 crore, underscoring the immense value of Nolan’s films in their original language.So far, the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions together have grossed under Rs 20 crore, taking the film’s total worldwide.
