The filmmaker recently spoke about the idea of making this during the global promotion of ‘Ramayana’ at San Diego Comic-Con, where the team interacted with international media and audience.Speaking to IGN, Tiwari, revealed that the first episode was deliberately designed to end in a major twist leading up to the sequel.He said, “Ramayana is a side story, and where we leave Part One is what you would call a cliffhanger. Something that will make people want to watch Part 2 as they leave the theater. That’s it.” The filmmaker added that splitting the stories into two films is always story-driven rather than commercial. “It can’t be told in one episode, and we decided this would be the best time to stop Episode One, and leave Episode Two.”
