“They will act when their conscience tells them to do so. There is a saying: A dog with a bone in his mouth cannot bark. As soon as the bone comes out of his mouth, or breaks his teeth, he will bark,” Naseeruddin told The Wire, as reported by The Indian Express.When asked again if he thinks people are taking advantage of the silence of others by choosing to suppress their conscience, Shah replied, “Yes, yes.” He continued to say: “But how long will they continue to do this?”

Recently, Shah posted a video on social media, supporting the protestors. “I want to say two things to all of you. The first thing is that if an uneducated person is leading this country, then his heart will want the whole world to be as stupid, misunderstood, and merciless as he is. After completing two acting courses from the National School of Drama (NSD) and the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) that is what I learned from many children,” he said.“I sympathize with them. I feel sorry, and at the same time, my blood boils when I see how young people are being tortured by goons who remind me of those who wear masks in America. Think about your own children.
