Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Nandamuri Balakrishna at a Hyderabad hospital on Sunday. The veteran Tollywood star is recovering from knee surgery following an injury sustained while shooting for the upcoming film, ‘NBK111’ directed by Gopichand said. CM met the actor, spoke to the director and inquired about his health and recovery.

Chandrababu Naidu visits Balakrishna

According to an IANS report, CM N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Balakrishna at the Asia Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG) in Hyderabad, where the actor is undergoing treatment. N. Chandrababu Naidu who is also Balakrishna’s brother-in-law, inquired about his health and wished him a speedy recovery. When he met with the director and the team, he discussed the support of the actors and the revision process.Earlier, Chandrababu Naidu and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Lokesh spoke to Balakrishna after his injury and wished him a speedy recovery.According to the hospital, the operation took more than three hours. During the operation, doctors removed the excess blood around the injury site, reattached the torn quadriceps bone in the kneecap and repaired the damaged ligaments around the knee.

Balakrishna’s daughter is improving her health

Balakrishna’s daughter, Nara Brahmani, also shared an update about her father through her Instagram page. “Update on Naana: The surgery was a success! She is already back to full strength and will be back soon. Thank you so much for the great love and prayers that have been given for her – we owe it to everyone,” he wrote.

Balakrishna underwent a successful operation

For the uninitiated, Nandamuri Balakrishna got injured while shooting for the drama ‘NBK111’. The next day, he was sent to Hyderabad after receiving first aid. Medical tests revealed a torn left quadriceps tendon and injury to the muscles supporting the knee.After a thorough medical evaluation, the doctors decided that surgery was necessary. Balakrishna underwent the operation on July 23, and the hospital confirmed that the procedure was completed successfully without any complications.
