Virat Karrna’s mythological action-adventure ‘Nagabandham: The Secret Treasure’ has taken a slow start at the Indian box office. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 3.25 crore in India on its opening day. Day 1 business came from 3,202 shows nationwide and posted a 22% occupancy rate.Directed by Abhishek Nama, the film is inspired by Indian mythology and history. It stars Virat Karrna in the lead, with Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon playing the main characters.
India gross touches Rs 3.74 crore
‘Nagabandham: The Secret Treasure’ has registered an All India collection of Rs 3.74 crore. Its all India collection currently stands at Rs 3.25 crore.The Telugu version took Rs 2.90 crore. The Hindi version followed with Rs 20 lakhs, while the Tamil version earned Rs 10 lakhs. Malayalam added Rs 3 lakhs and Kannada version has given Rs 2 lakhs.
The Telugu language shows a very strong presence
The Telugu language ranked the best among all languages. It registered a total performance of 24.87% on Friday.The day started with 19.46% occupancy in the morning shows. The audience has increased to 24.15% during the day. It remained stable at 23.92% in the evening before rising to 31.92% in the night show which recorded the highest number of the day.The Hindi version worked 12.53% while the Tamil version finished with 10.90%. The Kannada version said that 17.38% people were living there. The Malayalam version recorded 4.30% throughout the day.
Mythology meets adventure and adventure
‘Nagabandham: The Secret Treasure’ combines mythology, action and fantasy into a story built around ancient legends and hidden treasures. The story revolves around the quest for the mysterious Brahma Kamalam which is a sacred object believed to have mystical significance.Virat Karrna plays Rudra and his path crosses with Abdali, portrayed by Rishabh Sawhney, who is determined to protect the sacred flower to achieve his goals.
