The 22-year-old, who is now an actress, entrepreneur, and mother, was once an 11-year-old who started making music for ‘Stranger Things.’“During a recent podcast appearance, Brown touched on being a child actor and how he was shaped. He also spoke about his looks and how he ‘looks older’ than his age.

Millie Bobby Brown laid it all out while hosting the latest episode of Jay Shetty’s ‘On Purpose’ podcast. Speaking to Shetty, the ‘Enola Holmes 3’ actor delved into his past and revealed many things that prevented him from growing up as a child actor.He said, “Things that didn’t help me, my goodness. I would say that people’s opinions don’t help. Growing up you always feel what people think of you.” She also explained how people often criticize her and mention her looks, regardless of what she is wearing.Elaborating, she added, “I think I was 15 years old when people started saying I looked like a 60-year-old woman… I could wear high heels, and people were like, oh my goodness, who do they think they are? [the haters are] everything is going against each other. None of you have a clue. You are all like robots.”Brown also confirmed that all of his experiences growing up in the industry taught him a lot about life and everything that comes with beauty. He said he has made it his “life’s work” to ensure that young children in the industry are protected at all costs.

Over the years, the ‘Electric State’ artist has repeatedly stood up against internet bullies and negative critics of her clothes, appearance, and comments about how she looks “too old” for her age. Back in September 2022, speaking to Allure, the actress shared how hard it is to be hated all the time.She added at the time, “It’s so hard to hate when you don’t know who you are. Then you start to shut down because you’re like, ‘Who am I? Who am I supposed to be?'” followed on Instagram and added, “Moms grow up!! Don’t feel bad about it.On the work front, Brown recently appeared in ‘Enola Holmes 3’, which explored new aspects of her life as the sister of Sherlock Holmes. Although they are ready to get married, Enola returns to a game of cat and mouse as she has to race against time to save her brother, who has been kidnapped and left a book with cryptic letters as a clue.
