Khloé Kardashian pays heartfelt tribute to grandmother Mary Jo Shannon: ‘You lived full, dignified, and beautiful’
Following Kris Jenner’s heartfelt post about her mother Mary Jo Shannon, Khloé Kardashian, Kardashian’s youngest sister, also spoke on the Internet with words of condolence. Sharing a post on her social media account, she reminisced about some of the fun times she shared with her grandmother MJ.
Khloé Kardashian shares post about her grandmother’s death
Taking to her account on Instagram on July 19, along with many photos, Khloé Kardashian shared her thoughts to her grandmother, Mary Jo Shannon, who died a few days ago at the age of 91. She gave her notes to her grandmother and began by saying, “My dear MJ. Thank you for showing us that life is meant to stop healing, but that love can heal. You lived life to the fullest, with dignity, and so beautifully.”Further, she talked about how her children know that their grandmother is one of the best things in life, and something they can appreciate and cherish. Along with the lengthy posts, the 42-year-old also shared a few snapshots of the couple from over the years. Many photos from years ago showed the grandmother and the two granddaughters in their best moments, one including a photo of MJ holding her as a baby.The youngest Kardashian sister added, “You taught us that love never goes away. It lives on in the family you built, the traditions we will continue, the stories we will tell, and every moment we choose to be happy. Your love will forever be woven into who we are. Thank you for every lesson, every laugh, every hug, and every piece of your heart you freely gave. You were truly one of them.” They added in the post that they know how they would be welcomed in heaven and how they would meet their father there.Khloé ended her post by sharing, “I know you’re enjoying having a coke, a tuna sandwich and graham crackers with daddy Harry while Karen dances around. Until we meet again, my sweet MJ! I love you (white heart emoji).”On July 16, Kris Jenner took to her social network and shared an old photo of her mother, along with the news that she had passed away. Kris Jenner wrote, “Today, we said goodbye to my beautiful mother MJ,” she wrote on Instagram on Thursday, July 16. “There are no words that can capture what she means to me or the heartbreak to say goodbye. My mother was the heart of our family. She taught me everything that is important… to love your family strongly, to be kind and loving, to show love.“In his letters, he also referred to her as the heart of the family and expressed how much he would be missed.
