The Chief Medical Examiner’s office in Maryland determined that the cause of death was blunt force trauma from a motor vehicle accident, according to Deadline. The photographer was a passenger in a speeding car that crashed into a ditch around 3 am on July 21, 2026. The 19-year-old driver is believed to have escaped with non-life-threatening injuries after being taken to hospital. Also, another passenger has advanced to medical treatment at the scene.
