Hyundai bids farewell to i20 N with new Shadow Edition: limited to 100 units!

South Korean carmaker Hyundai recently launched its latest generation i20 in Brazil, bringing significant changes compared to its predecessor. The updated hatchback is expected to hit more international markets in the coming months. Prior to this, the company has launched a shadow version of the current i20 N for the Australian market. Unlike Hyundai’s N Line offerings, N-badged models are developed with a greater focus on overall performance, and Australia remains one of the few markets where the i20 N is officially on sale.

The hatch comes with 18-inch forged alloy wheels

The i20 N Shadow Edition is limited to only 100 units. The special edition retains the mechanical package of the standard model while carrying out cosmetic upgrades. Launch plans for other markets remain unknown, and it’s unclear whether the new-generation model will result in an N-badged performance variant.Let’s talk about the engine first, it continues to use a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 204 hp and 275 Nm. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission that sends power to the front wheels. Hyundai claims the hatchback can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 230 km/h.
