Haryana HSSC announces last chance for PMT for absentee Group C candidates, revised schedule for June 2026
HSSC Group C Recruitment 2026: The Haryana State Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced a last chance for candidates who missed out on the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) previously conducted for several Group C recruitment posts. 13/2024, 01/2026, 02/2026 and 04/2026. The decision follows an earlier announcement by the Commission regarding PMT in various departments.As per the latest announcement, absentee candidates will undergo PMT on the new date at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector 3, Panchkula. The Board has clarified that this will be the last opportunity for eligible candidates who were absent from the previously scheduled examinations.Revised PMT Schedule for Absent CandidatesCandidates for the posts of Deputy Ranger, Jailer (Male), Assistant Warden (Male), Male Constable (General Duty) and Sub-Inspector (General Duty) under Advertisement No. 13/2024, who are absent during the PMT to be held from June 22, 2026 to June 23, 2026, will appear for the examination on June 29, 2026.

Candidates who have applied for the post of Forester (Group 01) under advertisement number 02/2026 and candidates who have applied for the post of Forest Guard (Group 06) under advertisement number 04/2026, who are absent from the PMT to be held from June 24, 2026 to June 25, 2026, will appear for the examination in 2026. Forest Guard candidates are absent from the PMT held from June 26 to February 27, 2026, along with the Male Constable (General Duties) and Male Constable (Government Railway Police) candidates with advertisement number 27. 01/2026, will appear on July 1, 2026.Instructions to candidatesThe committee has set a report time of 6.30am. Entry to the venue will not be allowed after 10am. Candidates must bring their admission ticket and a valid proof of identity when registering for the PMT.The HSSC said no separate admission tickets will be issued this round and no personal information will be sent by post or email. Candidates who fail to attend on the revised date will not be given any further opportunity.Recruitment overviewThe Group C recruitment exercise covers 1,383 vacancies. Applications will be accepted from February 2 to February 15, 2026, and the application window will reopen from March 16 to March 19, 2026. As of January 1, 2026, the required age limit is 18 to 42 years. The exam schedule has not yet been announced.
