The 31-year-old opted for his fifth consecutive T20I victory in the third T20I against England at Trent Bridge on Tuesday. However, the winning streak did not change the fate of the Indian team on the field.Iyer is yet to register his first win since taking over as India’s full-time T20I captain after the 2026 T20 World Cup. India lost back-to-back defeats to Ireland in the first T20I against England.
