‘Ananthan Kaadu’ box office collections on day 3: Arya’s film drops 31.7%; India Net will reach Rs 1.66 Cr | Malayalam Movie News
Arya’s ‘Ananthan Kaadu’ saw a slow decline at the box office on its third day despite its weekend gains. The political entertainer saw a drop in collections compared to Friday.According to Sacnilk estimates, the film earned 41 lakhs nett in India on Day 3. This shows a decrease of 31.7% from the Rs 60 lakhs collected on Day 2. The film was screened in 1,178 screens on Saturday. Its all India collection has increased to Rs 1.66 crore, while the domestic collection has reached Rs 1.90 crore.The original Malayalam version grossed Rs 28 lakhs in total collections from 684 shows while registering 14% audience.The Tamil version grossed Rs 13 lakhs from 494 screenings, recording 13% audience.
Evenings and nights show better movements
The Malayalam version of the movie Arya recorded 12.88% audience, morning shows with 5.33%, afternoon shows with 7.25%, evening shows with 12.00%, and night shows with 19.75%.The Tamil version worked 12.46%. It said, “Arya is shown as the central face of the film, but her character Vetrivel Kumaran, does not get enough space to leave a lasting impact. Murali Gopy acts with restraint and Indran appears in major scenes.
