Songwriter Amali Mallik has launched a vicious attack on the musician Tanishk Bagchi accusing him of copying music, bragging about other people’s work and mistreating female singers. This comes after Bagchi criticized YRF for not paying him after ‘Saiyaara’. Although Amaal did not mention Bagchi by name in his post, he repeatedly referred to him as “Mr Remix & Destroyer of Originals” and later shared a photo of Bagchi calling him the “Zazooo of the music industry,” saying he was “destroying lives.”The social media outburst came recently after Bagchi said that he did not receive the remaining money for the Saiyaara song. Regarding the controversy, Amaal accused her of relying on paid publicity while showing a different face in private than in public.One of his ownHe continued: “Then why do you keep pretending to be my brother every year—either on the phone or in front of my boss?”Amaal also said that Bagchi protected Saiyaara by taking someone else’s notes. Mohit Suri take you in the movie, you will know (sic).”The author went on to criticize Bagchi’s treatment of female singers and cited a website that was allegedly taken down after the film’s producer Mohit Suri intervened.He wrote, “When I mention what you did to female singers and their lives, I too nahi, Me Three ho jaayega tujh par (It won’t be a MeToo problem for you; it will come to Three Three) (sic).”Amaal also questioned Bagchi’s recent actions regarding royalty payments, saying that he approached him for work due to financial problems. He also said that despite being advised not to rely on remakes of songs like Aashiq Banaya Aapne and Masakali, Bagchi continued to remake them to earn quick cash. He also said that Saiyaara was removed from Humnawa Mere, adding that the singer Jubin Nautiyal And singer Rocky Khanna chose not to respond politely, especially since Nautiyal sang the song Barbaad in the film and also teamed up with Raataan Lambiyan.Amaal also said that Bagchi often talks bad about Bhushan Kumar and T-Series.
