One of the most memorable moments in the Mani Ratnam‘s ‘Raavan’ is the highlight of the show Aishwarya Rai BachchanRagini’s character, jumped off a huge cliff to stop her husband, Dev, from killing her captor, Veera. Although the incident looked quiet on the screen, it was done by Aishwarya’s body, Sanober Pardiwalla, who has now revealed that the attack was almost an accident.Taking to Instagram, Sanober shared a behind-the-scenes video from the 2010 movie and explained how an unexplained accident left him stranded in the middle of a cliff during the shoot.Sharing the video, he wrote, “150 meters. 3.5 seconds. One rope I will never forget.” By the time Raavan jumped, an unexpected problem left me on the ground for about 30 minutes.” He explained that he decided to return to the scene to highlight another less visible aspect of emergency work—dealing with situations when a well-planned plan changes unexpectedly.“In a disaster operation, preparation is not only about exercising. It is also about what you do when the unexpected happens. Keep calm. Keep your breath. Trust the safety systems. Save your energy,” he wrote. Recalling this difficult experience, he added, “So that’s what I did—stopping by the waterfall, taking deep breaths, being quiet… and looking at the few people who could see there.His composure helped him cope with the challenges, and he was later nominated for the prestigious Taurus World Stunt Awards. Reflecting on what happened, Sanober said: “Some shocking things test the body, some test the mind.Directed by Mani Ratnam, ‘Raavan’ had AR Rahman’s music and stars.
