Riding high on the success of ‘Chhaava’, the director Laxman Utekar is now gearing up for the release of Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Eetha’, which is slated to hit the theaters on August 28. The action star has sparked the audience’s interest, and reports suggest that Utekar has reached Hrithik Roshan to help him with his next project.

According to Variety India, the director spoke to Hrithik and asked him to do the film he wants to direct once ‘Eetha’ releases. Roshan, however, is tied up with pre-production work for his debut, ‘Krrish 4’, and is yet to respond.

‘Eetha’ tells the life story of Vithabai Narayangaonkar, the famous Marathi Lavani and Tamasha singer. The film also stars Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Randeep Hooda in pivotal roles, with music by Ajay-Atul, and is set to release on August 28.

Also, ‘Krrish 4’, starring Hrithik Roshan, is supported by Aditya Chopra and Rakesh Roshan. Before that, however, the actor will appear in a cameo role Rajinikanth‘Jailer 2’, parts of which were already shot on June 22 and 23 in Chennai. This marks her on-screen reunion with Thalaivar, 40 years after ‘Bhagwaan Dada’. Cameos from Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Vijay Sethupathi and Mithun Chakraborty also feature in the film.

Helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, ‘Jailer 2’ also stars SJ Suryah, Ramya Krishnan, Vidya Balan and Yogi Babu in lead roles. The film is slated to release on October 15.
