UPTET 2026 Answer Key: The Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the UPTET provisional answer keys 2026 on its official website, allowing candidates to view the draft answer keys for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. The board also launched an online objection facility on July 8 to enable candidates to report discrepancies in provisional answers.Candidates taking the exam can download answers to their respective papers, compare their recorded answers and estimate their likely marks. The objection window will last until July 14, after which the committee will review all submissions before issuing a final answer. The final version will be used to prepare the UPTET results 2026.Both papers have answersThe provisional answer keys of the candidates appearing in Paper 1 and Paper 2 have been released. Candidates can download the relevant PDF file, match their answers with the main answers, and calculate their expected score before results are announced.To get the answers, candidates need to visit the UPESSC official website, find the answer section, select the appropriate paper and download the PDF. They should compare answers based on their question book code (including group A, B, C or D). Objection proceedings open until July 14Candidates who find any error in their provisional answers can only submit objections through the online portal. Offline submissions sent by post, fax, email or any other method will not be considered.To raise an objection, candidates must log in using their registration number and date of birth, select the relevant exam details, identify the issue they wish to challenge and upload supporting documentation. The committee requires candidates to provide evidence from recognized academic sources, including NCERT and SCERT textbooks, before submitting their application. Candidates should also save the confirmation receipt generated upon successful submission.Marking scheme and next stageEach correct answer is worth one point, while incorrect and unanswered questions receive no points. There are no negative marks on the exam. The board also said that since the exams are administered across multiple shifts, scores will undergo a normalization process.The eligibility requirement remains 90 marks out of 150 for general category candidates and 82 marks for OBC, SC, ST, PwD and Veteran candidates. After examining all the objections, UPESSC will announce the final answer followed by the UPTET Result 2026. Eligible candidates will be issued UPTET eligibility certificate as per the stipulated validity period rules.
