The makers of ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ have launched an anti-piracy strategy after an 11-second clip featuring Ranbir Kapoor it went well on social media. The video, which appeared on July 2, was widely circulated on X (formerly Twitter), Reddit and other platforms, with several users claiming that it was downloaded from the screens that were shown at CinemaCon 2026.After the video went viral on the internet, the film’s crew launched a countermeasure through their anti-terrorist partners to keep the video from going viral.
The movie ‘Ramayana’ is not completely authentic
According to Mid-Day, reports suggest that the footage is not entirely authentic. While some images are believed to be from the film, some parts have been manipulated using artificial intelligence and digital editing techniques.The report also stated that, “Our team is closely monitoring the Internet and removing the material. Some of the 11-second video is AI-produced by AI, while some of the film has been morphed and used. In any case, the team does not want the appearance to be seen. Glimpses, even made by AI, remove the vision of the film.”
The makers remain firm in their defense of the film
Directors Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra say they are witnessing fake piracy and artificial intelligence in equal measure as they prepare for the manufacturer’s marketing campaign.Sharing the team’s progress, the report said, “The trailer will be launched later this month on a global platform. It’s up to us to make sure nothing gets leaked before it starts.”The makers are determined to ensure that the audience gets to experience the world of ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ as it was originally seen, without any unauthorized leaks or changes that were seen in the original.

The excitement surrounding ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ has grown steadily ever since producer Namit Malhotra and Yash unveiled the trailer of the film at CinemaCon 2026, which took place between April 13 and 16.
