Veteran actor Madhoo recently looked back at an emotional moment from the sets of ‘Hum Hain Bemisaal’, recalling how Suniel Shetty he suddenly stopped shooting after receiving the distressing news of Divya Bhartideath. Madhoo revealed that Suniel was in a close relationship with Divya and immediately went to Mumbai after hearing about her death.When asked if he has ever met Divya Bharti, Madhoo said he never got the chance to meet in person. However, he said that their families know each other well, as Divya’s father and her father were good friends who often met at the beach. He remembered that too Hema Malini he cast Divya in his first collection, ‘Dil Aashna Hai’.“So I knew he was part of my family movie,” the ‘Roja’ actor said in an interview with IANS. Recalling what happened on the sets of ‘Hum Hain Bemisaal’, Madhoo said, “I was shooting for a film called ‘Hum Hain Bemisaal’, and we were in Shimla. Suniel Shetty and I were shooting when Divya died.Divya Bharti died on April 5, 1993, at the age of 19 after falling from the balcony of her fifth floor apartment in Bombay. Although the circumstances surrounding his death have sparked speculation for years, the case was ruled accidental.Directed by Deepak Bahry, ‘Hum Hain Bemisaal’ was released on December 16, 1994. The film featured Suniel Shetty and Madhoo in the lead roles, and Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shirodkar and others are playing important roles. The film was produced under the banner Spectrum Pictures Combine.
