Royal Enfield has started deliveries of its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, in Bengaluru. The Flying Flea C6 is priced at Rs 2.79 lakh ex-showroom and is also available on battery-as-a-service (BaaS) mode, bringing the initial purchase price down to Rs 1.99 lakh.

Powering the Flying Flea C6 is a 3.91 kWh battery pack paired with a permanent magnet synchronous motor that produces 20.65 hp and 60 Nm of peak torque. Royal Enfield claims that the electric motorcycle can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 115 km/h.The company claims that the IDC-certified cruising range after a full charge is 154 kilometers. It rides on 19-inch wheels shod with narrow 90-section tires and has a lightweight construction.In terms of equipment, this electric motorcycle is equipped with a 3.5-inch circular color TFT display, five riding modes, adjustable regenerative braking, lean traction control, and dual-channel ABS. To support its customers, Royal Enfield has established a dedicated hub-and-spoke service network in Bengaluru.
