The new blockbuster success of ‘Lokah: Chandra 1 Chandra’, Kalyani Priyadarshan is all set to make her Bollywood debut with ‘Pralay’. The actress is said to be seen in heavy action Ranveer Singhtaking a more linear approach to zombie thrillers instead of playing a typical leading lady.
Kalyani Priyadarshan to do some very powerful sequences
According to Variety India, Kalyani’s character in ‘Pralay’ was created as part of the action. Unlike the “little girl” look, the actress will be seen performing martial arts stunts and dangerous stunts alongside Ranveer Singh. After impressing people with her portrayal of a yakshi in ‘Lokah: Chandra 1 Chandra’, Kalyani is said to have gained the confidence of the filmmakers, who are planning a big action for her in the upcoming film.To prepare for this difficult task, he will receive special training from the world’s leading directors and acting experts, as will his partner Ranveer Singh.
Producers of ‘Pralay’ organize international events

Backed by an estimated budget of around Rs 300 crore, ‘Pralay’ is set as a VFX-driven zombie thriller set in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic world. Directed by Jay Mehta, the film is co-produced by Hansal MehtaTrue Story Movies and Ranveer Singh’s Maa Kasam Movies.
The ‘Lokah’ franchise continues to grow
Apart from her Bollywood debut, Kalyani Priyadarshan is also planning to return to the world of ‘Lokah’. The actor recently confirmed that the work on ‘Lokah: Chapter 2’ is expected to start in September. The sequel will focus on Chathan, played by Tovino Thomas, and will also be written and directed by Dominic Arun. Produced by Dulquer Salmaan, the five-part franchise is inspired by regional traditions, and the actor also plays a major role in the main story.
