JoSAA Consultation 2026: 5th Round Seat Allotment Result Released at josaa.nic.in; Complete Online Report by July 20
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) announced the seat allocation results of the 5th round of JoSAA consultation 2026 today (July 16). Candidates who participated in the counseling process can now check their allotment status by visiting the official website josaa.nic.in.To access results, candidates must log in using their application number and password.Candidates who have been allocated seats must download the seat allocation letter and complete the online reporting process through the admissions portal on or before July 20, 2026. Completion of the reporting process within the deadline is a requirement for confirmation of allocated seats.

Candidates can download the allotment letter by following the steps below:
- Please visit the official website: josaa.nic.in.
- On the home page, go to the Candidate Activity Board.
- Click on the link titled “View JoSAA 2026 Round 5 Seat Allocation Results”.
- Enter your application number and password.
- Submit your details to see results.
- Check assigned institutions and courses.
- Download and save the assignment letter for future reference.

Documents required for JoSAA consultation 2026
Candidates should have the following documents ready for the admission process:
- Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Admit Card and Scorecard
- Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced Admit Card 2026 (Indian Institute of Technology Admissions)
- Class 10 certificate or birth certificate as proof of date of birth
- Grade 12 Result List and Pass Certificate
- Passport size photo
- Valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID or passport
- Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) or Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate (if applicable)
- Person with Disability (PwD) Certificate (if applicable)
- Temporary seat allocation letter
- Seat Acceptance Fee Payment Receipt
