Quietly, on his own bed, with my mother holding one hand and me the other. There was no sound. No deep breathing. No struggle. He just ran away. He had just reached the age of 88. You should be especially blessed to ease your next journey with what seemed to be no pain or suffering whatsoever. Father is survived by my mother, four children and eight grandchildren. He was always ready with a quick sense of humor, a sharp wit and a sharp mathematical mind. Very proud of his Karwari origins, language, food and people,” wrote Atul.
