The 8th “Brick 12 on 12” Design Exhibition in Pune
PUNE: The Brick Group of Institutions of Satish Misal Educational Foundation (SMEF) will organize its eighth flagship annual event ‘Brick 12 on 12’ at SARTHI Auditorium, Shivajinagar from July 17 to 18, bringing together students, alumni, architects, designers and academicians on a common educational platform to celebrate innovative areas of architecture and design.The two-day event will kick off on July 17 with academic presentations by students from 3:30 to 8 p.m., followed by the Brick’s annual exhibition showcasing academic projects and design explorations. On July 18, the program will include presentations by distinguished alumni, a panel discussion on contemporary design practices, and a keynote address by renowned architect Ar. Ajay Sonar, co-founder of A for Architecture, is an internationally renowned designer and educator. An exhibition of student work will be open to visitors on both days.

Dr. Raosaheb Latpate, Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology, Savitribai Phule Pune University, will be the chief guest on the opening day, while Ar. Rajeev Vishwasrao, founder of Rajeev Vishwasrao & Associates and a leading figure in the field of institutional architecture, will inaugurate the annual exhibition. Organizers say the event aims to provide aspiring architects, students, parents and industry professionals with first-hand knowledge of design education and its growing relevance to the fields of architecture and the built environment.
