THAMIZH MURUGAN.”The production house shared its first look on its social media and wrote, “Eternal Protector, Warrior, KING & Ruler of Thamizh people and nations. #தமிழ்முருகை #ThamizhMurugan #SonOfKottravai.”The released advertisements show the general, seated majestically on an elephant and holding a staff (spear), even as he appears to be leading his troops who appear to be ready for battle.The movie is supposed to have music by young Sai Abhyankkar. The story of the film is based on the book of the same name by the famous writer Arivumathi. The purpose of the book written by Arivumathi was to remember and remind people about the history of Thamizh Murugan written in Sangam books.Undoubtedly, this news has excited the fans as every time the director has worked with Dhanush, he has produced popular entertainers and commercial successes.Dhanush and Vetri Maaran worked together in four films before Thamizh Murugan. Although their first film together ‘Polladhavan’ was a commercial success, their next film together, Aadukalam was a non-filmmaker and a huge hit which swept six National Awards including the Best Actor award for Dhanush and the Best Direction award for Vetri Maaran.
